Thirty miles south west of London, Rushmoor is mainly known for the aerospace industry in Farnborough, and for being the "Home of the British Army" in Aldershot.   Heathlands CAB is based on the Surrey/Hampshire border, in Frimley.   All bureaux are close to the M3 with rail links to London.
For information on contacting Aldershot and Farnborough together with their opening times, please click on the relevant sub menu under 'Contact Us'.   They both operate a 'Drop In' policy so that anyone may visit without an appointment during the times shown.
Heathlands specialises in providing advice services for clients with mental ill-health and consequently only referrals from agencies are undertaken.
In addition, appointments are available at Border Practice, GP Surgery, Aldershot and Mayfield Surgery, Farnborough if you are a patient at the surgery.
Also, there is a Drop-in session between 1pm and 3pm each Wednesday at the Community Centre, North Town.
- To reduce waiting times and to get the right help to each person, we have introduced a Gateway system for advising clients.
- For every new problem at 'Drop In' sessions (see opening hours), a short 10 minute interview will be used to agree what help is needed.
- This type of interview will be needed before making any appointment, either by phone or Drop In.
At the interview we will either:
- Give you the information or resources you need to help yourself.
- Make an appointment for you to see a general or specialist adviser.
- Make an appointment for someone to call you by telephone with the advice you need.
- Refer you to an agency who can give more help than we can to resolve your problem.
When you arrive, we will ask you to complete a form with your personal details while you are waiting. This is to save time and help us answer your enquiry.   You may remain anonymous if you prefer.
